About

The STAR-Water-micro is OhmSpace’s higher-power propulsion system targeting microsatellite platforms and LEO mega-constellation operators. It delivers 75–150 mN of thrust with a target specific impulse of 240 seconds using deionized or demineralized water as propellant, enabling rapid orbital maneuvers at up to 500 W input power. The system is designed to enable collision avoidance, de-orbiting to comply with space debris regulations, and inclination changes — all without requiring toxic propellants. Its use of water makes it a safe, non-toxic, and low-pressure alternative to hydrazine thrusters, simplifying ground handling and launch safety compliance.
