Powered by deep learning and computer vision, Planet Analytic Feeds transforms daily imagery into analytic feeds that detect and classify objects, identify geographic features, and monitor change over time and around the globe. These feeds deliver data from your area of interest directly to you in GeoJSON and GeoTIFF format. Key features include Building Detection for monthly or weekly overviews of buildings and infrastructure, Road Detection for new and existing roads, and Automated Change Detection for early identification of construction. Additionally, Planet Analytic Feeds offers Vessel Detection across ports and coastlines and Aircraft Detection across multiple airports and airfields, both at 3.7 meter resolution. This solution automatically scans Planet’s daily datasets to identify features and objects within defined areas of interest, helping users quickly identify features, understand trends, mitigate risk through broad-scale coverage and frequent updates, and accelerate decision-making by complementing existing datasets. Planet’s global scale allows for analytics anywhere in the world and backward in time with a deep historical archive.
