The 2nd Switch (L2) Spring Upgrade Kit is a set of hardware components designed to provide added spring strength to the second switch (L2) on Pumpkin base plate assemblies. This upgrade kit is specifically intended for use with Pumpkin CubeSat Kit™ chassis assemblies. As of January 01, 2017, all new CSK chassis assemblies are shipped with this 2nd Switch Spring Upgrade kit as a standard inclusion. The kit is compatible with Rev-E or later motherboard modules. Existing Pumpkin CSK customers can obtain these kits at no additional expense. The product is explicitly labeled as ‘Flight Hardware’, ‘Flight Qualified’, and ‘Space Proven’, indicating its suitability and heritage for space applications.
