About
The Pumpkin 6U SUPERNOVA is a complete, flight-proven nanosatellite bus offering 4U of payload volume in a 6U form factor. Built around a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 running Linux, it provides 32GB onboard data storage, 68W peak solar power, and up to 160W peak payload power with 500W peak regulated power. Energy storage is 100Wh from a lithium-ion battery, and bus voltage is configurable from 3.3–30V.
The SUPERNOVA RF system supports UHF/L/S/X-band at data rates from 9 B/s to 100 Mbps downlink and 20 kbps uplink, with CCSDS and TCP-IP/UDP protocols. ADCS provides 20 arcsec knowledge at 0.001°/s and 0.01° pointing at the same rate. Design lifetimes are 5 years LEO and 2 years GEO. Standard lead time is 6 months from order.
