About
The Rod & Spacer Kit is an essential component for assembling CubeSat Kit™ modules. These modules are arranged in a stack according to physical dimensions prescribed by the PC/104 specification. The kit provides the preferred method for physically retaining all modules in place, utilizing a system of four threaded rods. Coaxial aluminum through-hole spacers are placed between adjacent modules to maintain proper spacing. Each M3 rod is affixed to a Base Plate Assembly and secured with an M3 nut to retain the entire module stack in compression. The kit is available in various sizes to accommodate different CubeSat unit configurations.
