The Pyxis Space Reaction Wheel is a miniaturized momentum exchange device for precise attitude control of CubeSat and nanosatellite platforms. Measuring only 32 × 32 × 32 mm³ and weighing 100 g, it delivers up to 2 mNm of control torque and stores up to 5 mNms of angular momentum — sufficient for most CubeSat pointing and slewing operations. It communicates via CAN 2.0B bus, enabling straightforward integration into ADCS controllers or standard onboard computers. In a typical 3-axis stabilized CubeSat, four reaction wheels arranged in a pyramid or tetrahedral configuration provide full 3-axis control and one degree of redundancy. At €6,000 per unit, the Pyxis Reaction Wheel offers professional performance for an accessible price, making it suitable for both commercial and educational satellite programs. It is part of the complete Pyxis Space ADCS product family alongside the Star Sensor, Sun Sensor, and Earth Horizon Sensor.
