About

The Pyxis Space UHF/VHF Transceiver provides a compact, multi-mode radio communication module for CubeSat TT&C (telemetry, tracking, and command) operations. In an extremely small 6 × 30 × 62 mm³ form factor, it delivers up to 1.4 W output power and supports multiple standard amateur and space protocols: AX.25 AFSK (Audio Frequency Shift Keying) and GFSK (Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying) for conventional telemetry and command, APRS digipeater mode for position/status relaying through the amateur radio network, and SSTV-FM (Slow Scan Television) for image downlink over FM. These modes cover the full range of typical educational and commercial CubeSat communication needs without requiring a custom ground station. The CAN 2.0B and UART interfaces allow direct integration with onboard computers and the Pyxis ADCS suite. Priced at €6,000, it is a versatile, ready-to-fly communication solution for CubeSats operating in the amateur UHF and VHF bands.
