25N Monopropellant Hydrazine Thruster
The Rafael 25N Monopropellant Hydrazine Thruster is designed for high-thrust satellite maneuvers, providing 9.5 to 28 N of steady-state thrust across its operational feed pressure range. It serves as the high-thrust element in Rafael’s complete satellite hydrazine propulsion systems (HPS) alongside the 1N or 5N attitude control thrusters. About
The Rafael 25N Monopropellant Hydrazine Thruster is designed for high-thrust satellite maneuvers, providing 9.5 to 28 N of steady-state thrust across its operational feed pressure range. It serves as the high-thrust element in Rafael’s complete satellite hydrazine propulsion systems (HPS) alongside the 1N or 5N attitude control thrusters.
The thruster features a single-coil, dual-seat normally-closed FCV with integral 15-micron filtration and four single catalyst bed heaters. The bell nozzle has a 60:1 expansion ratio. All construction is all-welded for maximum leak tightness.
Flight heritage includes the Israeli OFEQ and EROS satellite programs. ITAR-free and manufactured to ISO 9001:2015 / AS9100D.
