The PEPT-260 is a spherical titanium propellant tank with 9.3 liters nominal volume for hydrazine monopropellant propulsion systems. It uses an EPN-40 silica-free EPDM diaphragm for positive propellant expulsion, ensuring complete gas-free propellant feed regardless of satellite orientation.
Constructed from Ti-6Al-4V titanium hemispheres joined by Electron Beam Welding, the tank features 1/4″ titanium port tubes (Ti per AMS4942, 5″ length) for both pressurant and propellant connections. The silica-free EPN-40 diaphragm material prevents SiO₂ contamination of downstream thrusters.
Space-qualified and flight-proven on the Venµs satellite (CNES/IAI, launched 2017). Also qualified for satellite launcher applications.
