The PEPT-590 is a large-volume spherical titanium propellant tank with 102.5 liters nominal net volume and 75 kg propellant capacity, designed for major satellite platform propulsion systems. Polar mounting configuration accommodates the tank in the satellite’s central cylinder.

Like all PEPT tanks, the PEPT-590 uses the silica-free EPN-40 EPDM diaphragm for positive propellant expulsion. Both pressurant and propellant port connections use 1/4″ weldable Ti-6Al-4V tubes. Operating pressure of 24.6 to 5.5 bar supports a standard blow-down propulsion architecture.

Designed and first qualified for the Galileo IOV (In-Orbit Validation) program. Subsequent flight heritage includes ESA’s IXV re-entry vehicle, ExoMars 2020 (TAS-UK), and PRISMA (OHB-I).
