The R-200 EPS (Electric Propulsion System) is a complete, turnkey electric propulsion solution built around Rafael’s qualified R-200 Hall Effect Thruster. The system integrates the R-200 thruster, a Power Processing Unit (PPU), and a Propellant Management Assembly (PMA) into a unified ‘plug-and-play’ package designed for easy satellite integration.
The system operates in the 150–350W input power range and supports both Xenon and Krypton propellants. Applications include orbit keeping and drag compensation for LEO satellites, precise orbit insertion after launcher separation, formation-flying, and end-of-life deorbit.
Rafael provides the system as a complete, factory-tested unit ready for satellite-level integration, reducing customer integration risk and test burden.
