About
The Nightjar is a 3U CubeSat platform developed in collaboration with the Taiwan Space Agency (TASA). It is designed as a cost-effective solution for technology validation in space. Its primary purpose is bi-directional Ku-band communication. The platform is engineered to support a data rate of 32 Mbps and can accommodate more than 16 users. It is slated for launch in August 2024 into a Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO). The Nightjar platform serves as a testbed for various space technologies, making it suitable for missions requiring reliable communication capabilities and validation of new space-based systems.
