Express-2000 Satellite Platform
The Express-2000 is ISS Reshetnev (RESHETNEV) heavy-class geostationary satellite platform designed for high-power telecommunications and broadcasting missions. It supports electric propulsion for orbit raising and is capable of hosting large multi-band payload complements. The platform has been used for the Express-AM5, Express-AM6, Yamal-401, and Express-AMU series spacecraft. Its three-axis stabilized design and deployable solar arrays […]
About
The Express-2000 is ISS Reshetnev (RESHETNEV) heavy-class geostationary satellite platform designed for high-power telecommunications and broadcasting missions. It supports electric propulsion for orbit raising and is capable of hosting large multi-band payload complements. The platform has been used for the Express-AM5, Express-AM6, Yamal-401, and Express-AMU series spacecraft. Its three-axis stabilized design and deployable solar arrays deliver up to 16 kW of end-of-life power, enabling a broad range of Ka-, Ku-, C-, and L-band payloads with lifetimes up to 15 years.
