About
The S-CLASS is York Space Systems’ flagship satellite bus, a 3-axis stabilized spacecraft designed for mass manufacturing and intended for use in large constellations. The platform supports payloads up to 85 kg and provides up to 500 W of peak power, with 6-year design life on orbit. The S-CLASS bus is highly modular and has been flight-proven across more than 20 missions, with launches via SpaceX Falcon 9, Rocket Lab Electron, and other vehicles. The bus incorporates an integrated propulsion system and advanced attitude control, and is manufactured at York Space’s facility in Denver, Colorado. The S-CLASS was selected by the US Space Force for multiple SDA (Space Development Agency) Tranche 0 Tracking Layer satellites.
