About
SITAEL’s small satellite platform family spans the 75kg (S-75) to 350kg (S-350) spacecraft mass class, offering smart, modular, scalable all-electric platforms for Earth Observation (panchromatic/visible, NIR/SWIR/TIR, multi/hyperspectral, small SAR), small telecom and LEO/MEO constellations, M2M/IoT, in-orbit demonstration/validation, and science missions.
Each platform integrates SITAEL’s own low-power Hall Effect electric propulsion subsystem, a high-performance AOCS with star-tracker fine pointing and torque/momentum actuators, large deployable solar arrays, and high-capacity batteries. Multi-application payload capacity reaches up to 90kg depending on platform size, with a mixed COTS/space-grade EEE parts approach rated up to 10 krad total ionizing dose.
The modular payload and platform module structure streamlines Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Test (MAIT) activities, enabling faster production cycles for constellation-scale programmes while maintaining full ECSS compliance.
