About

SAB Launch Services sells launch capacity on the European Vega launch vehicle to owners of small satellites. The service is sold end to end: procurement of the launch slot, support during spacecraft development and qualification, mechanical and electrical integration onto the launch vehicle structure, storage and shipment of the spacecraft to the launch site, and support through the launch campaign at the European Space Port in Kourou, French Guiana.

Vega places up to 1500 kg into a 700 km Sun-synchronous orbit and up to roughly 2200 kg into lower orbits. Payload integration within Europe is carried out at the SAB facility in Brno, Czech Republic; final integration and pre-flight operations take place at the launch site. Rideshare passengers fly on the SSMS dispenser; larger single or dual passengers use the VESPA and VAMPIRE adapters.

SAB Launch Services operates from Benevento, Italy and is part of the SAB group.
