SpaceLink offers commercial data relay services for NASA, NOAA, NSF, and other civil space agency missions as a successor to the TDRSS (Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System). Civil space applications include weather monitoring via radio occultation, AIS maritime tracking, climate research, ocean monitoring, hurricane tracking, and sea level measurement. SpaceLink holds the only commercial license for more than 21 GHz of relay spectrum and enables government agencies to procure relay services from private industry without building dedicated infrastructure.
