The XTE+ LEO is Spectrolab’s newest GaInP/GaAs/Ge lattice-matched triple-junction solar cell delivering 33% beginning-of-life efficiency, specifically optimized for low Earth orbit constellations and other low-fluence environments under 1e14 1 MeV electrons. With 30.6% efficiency at end of life (1e14 fluence), it is the leading choice for LEO mega-constellations and small satellite platforms where minimizing panel area and mass is critical.

Fully qualified under AIAA-S111-2014, the XTE+ LEO delivers superior EOL performance in low-radiation environments. Available as bare cells or as CIC assemblies complete with space-qualified coverglass, bypass diode, and interconnects for welded solar panel integration. Spectrolab’s XTE+ family represents the current state of the art in space photovoltaics.
