Each FSS-15 unit is shipped with a unique, pre-measured error table. The sensor is capable of detecting and recovering from radiation-caused transient errors through its embedded firmware. It offers a pointing error of 0.1 degrees (1 sigma) and has a field of view of ±60 degrees, with optimal performance at 45 degrees. The sampling rate is user-adjustable at 2, 4, 8, and 16 Hz.
