About

Tensor Tech provides magnetorquers in two configurations: the MTQ Board and the TensorMTQ series. The MTQ Board is an integrated solution that combines two magnetorquers and one air coil onto a control board. This board includes embedded ADCS algorithms, specifically designed to provide detumbling functionality for CubeSat missions. When paired with fine sun sensors, the MTQ Board system can achieve basic pointing capabilities, such as sun-spin and detumbling. The TensorMTQ series consists of magnetorquer rods, which are designed for small satellites. These rods can be supplied with or without H-bridge driving circuits, offering flexibility for integration. They are designed to interface directly with a flight computer or with a dedicated ADCS board, which can also be sourced from Tensor Tech. Key product features include optional driving circuitries and digital interfaces enabled by the control board. The products are manufactured in an ISO 7 cleanroom, ensuring strict quality control and enabling scalable production from small quantities to mass production. Analysis of magnetic distortion and leakage is performed using COMSOL Multiphysics®. Custom designs are available upon request to meet specific mission constraints regarding size, power consumption, and magnetic dipole moment.
