About
Tensor Tech provides magnetorquers in two forms: integrated boards and standalone rods. The MTQ Board integrates two magnetorquers and one air coil onto a control board with embedded ADCS algorithms, providing detumbling functionality for CubeSat missions. When combined with fine sun sensors, the system enables basic pointing capabilities such as sun-spin and detumbling. The TensorMTQ series is designed for small satellites and is delivered as magnetorquer rods, with or without H-bridge driving circuits. They can be interfaced directly with a flight computer or with a dedicated ADCS board, which can also be provided by Tensor Tech. Product features include optional driving circuitries and digital interfaces enabled by the control board; manufacturing in an ISO 7 cleanroom, imposing strict quality control and a scalable production plan from small quantity up to mass production; and analysis of magnetic distortion and leakage enabled by COMSOL Multiphysics®. A customization and analysis service is offered, providing customized magnetorquer solutions that balance size, power consumption, and magnetic dipole moment for mission constraints. Custom designs are available upon request.
