About
ThinKom’s ground SATCOM terminals use VICTS phased array antennas to provide rapid, accurate beam steering for mobile and fixed-site connectivity. The VICTS technology enables sub-second satellite reacquisition after large attitude changes, making these terminals suitable for SATCOM-on-the-move applications on ground vehicles, maritime vessels, and rapidly deployable temporary sites.
These terminals operate on Ku-band GEO satellites and are configurable for Ka-band and LEO constellation support. They integrate with standard commercial and military SATCOM modems. The lack of active T/R modules gives VICTS ground terminals inherently high reliability and low life-cycle costs compared to electronically steered array alternatives.
