ThinKom Solutions is a California-based antenna technology company that developed and commercialized the patented VICTS (Variable Inclination Continuous Transverse Stub) phased array antenna architecture. VICTS antennas achieve beam steering using two mechanically rotating disk layers embedded with continuous transverse electromagnetic stubs that create a steerable phase gradient across the aperture. This enables simultaneous wideband transmit/receive with full-hemisphere coverage, fast beam reacquisition, and excellent efficiency — at a fraction of the cost and complexity of conventional active phased arrays.

ThinKom antennas have been deployed on thousands of commercial aircraft operated by leading global airlines for Ku-band and Ka-band in-flight connectivity. In the government and defense market, ThinKom supplies VICTS antennas for military ISR aircraft, HALE UAVs, and SATCOM-on-the-move applications. The company is also developing VICTS-based antennas for LEO constellation ground stations (gateway arrays) and space payload applications.

ThinKom licenses the VICTS technology to antenna OEMs for integration into custom products and systems, and engages in co-development arrangements with satellite operators and system integrators.
