About
Pale Blue PBR-20 is a miniaturized water vapor propulsion system in a 1U form factor. It is a fully integrated system incorporating the thruster head, fluidics, electronics, and propellant tank, and is clusterable to scale to a wide range of spacecraft sizes. The PBR-20 uses water as propellant — no high-pressure storage is required — and the propellant is preloaded at the factory, eliminating complex fueling work for satellite integrators. The PBR-20 has verified in-orbit operation and has been confirmed to have operated successfully after more than 2 years in LEO on a nanosat mission.
