These include an Image Data Handling and Storage Unit (CDIU) for the PILOT-D demonstrator on the Luna-25 (Luna-Glob) mission, which acts as an interface unit, handles communication, video data storage and processing, and power conditioning/distribution. Another product is a Multi/Hyperspectral High Data Rate Image Compression Module, developed for the PRISMA Hyperspectral Mission, capable of acquiring, reassembling, preprocessing, compressing (lossless and lossy), and encoding image data from SWIR, VNIR, and PAN imagers. TSD also developed a fully redundant, rad-hard Data Processing Unit (DPU) for the Solar Orbiter’s SWA instrument, providing power and data communication interfaces, handling telecommands, telemetry, storage, and compression. For the ISS EML Facility, TSD designed a High Speed Camera Compression Board (HSC-CB), a PC-104+ module that applies wavelet-based hardware compression to increase the performance of the digital video chain by a factor of 5. The HYDRA Hyperspectral Compression IP core & HW Platform, developed under ESA contract, is an FPGA-based compression algorithm for multispectral/hyperspectral images with lossless/near-lossless/lossy modes, and a corresponding rad-hard HW platform (HPHC). A Payload Data Processing Module (PDPM) for very small space platforms, based on a Virtex5QV FPGA, offers high compactness, LEON3 IP core, SATA controller, HW acceleration, and SpaceWire/MultiGbit links. The CWICOM Validation & Evaluation Platform provides resources to prototype and test CWICOM ASIC samples. Finally, TSD developed a Data Handling Unit (DHU) for Foton Satellite Payloads, providing real-time management of telecommands, telemetry, and digital video, and offers dedicated Control & Data Acquisition Systems (CDAS) for scientific payloads, including experiment computers, real-time data processing, data acquisition for various sensors, actuator drivers, battery subunits, and power conditioning/distribution.
