The NST10-G1 Star Tracker is designed for precise attitude determination in space applications. It integrates a MEMS gyroscope to enhance its performance, achieving a pointing accuracy of 3 arcseconds (3σ) and dynamic performance up to 5 degrees per second. The optical design utilizes a refractive lens. It is built to withstand the harsh space environment, with specifications for vibration (sine 13g, random 12 grms for flight model; sine 16g, random 18 grms for qualification), a working temperature range of -30 to 40℃, and radiation resistance up to 30 Krad [Si]. The star tracker provides an update rate of 10 Hz and has a sensitivity of 5.8Mv, Go.Ref star. It features exclusive angles for sun avoidance (< 35°) and Earth avoidance (< 25°). Data communication is handled via RS422/CAN interfaces. It operates on a 5V input voltage, consumes 1.2W of power, and has a design lifetime of 3 years.
