About
The NST20-G2 is an upgraded version of the NST10-G1, offering fully autonomous operation, high reliability, and precision attitude determination. It boasts a pointing/rolling attitude accuracy of less than 3 arcseconds (3σ) and a dynamic performance of 20°/s. A secondary baffle is integrated to ensure optimal performance even at a Sun Exclusive Angle of 25°. The star tracker features a refractive optical design, a 15°×15° effective field of view, and an update rate of 15 Hz. It is designed to withstand harsh space environments, with specified vibration resistance (sine 13g/16g, random 12 grms/18 grms) and radiation resistance up to 100 Krad [Si]. The operating temperature range is -30°C to 50°C. Data communication is handled via RS422/CAN interfaces, and it operates on a 28V input voltage with a power consumption of 4W, offering a 7-year lifetime.
