The product has a strong flight heritage, with more than 50 sets of NST4S-A2 units successfully operating on orbit. It is designed to withstand harsh space environments, featuring radiation resistance up to 50 Krad [Si] and a wide working temperature range of -40 to 40℃. The star tracker offers a field of view of 15°×18° (effective) and achieves an attitude accuracy (pointing/rolling) of less than 3″ [3σ] and less than 30″ [3σ]. It provides an update rate of 10 Hz and can handle dynamic performance up to 3°/s. The sensitivity is rated at 5.8Mv, Go.Ref star. It has exclusive angles for Sun (less than 25°) and Earth (less than 20°). Data interfaces include RS422/CAN. The device has a low power consumption of 0.9W and operates on a 5V input voltage, with a projected lifetime of 7 years.
