About
Vyoma’s Flight Dynamics Service provides satellite operators and mission teams with a comprehensive, ready-to-use astrodynamics platform delivered as a cloud-based or on-premise Software-as-a-Service. Designed to shorten time-to-market and eliminate the need to build bespoke flight dynamics infrastructure, the service bundles core orbital mechanics capabilities with integrated collision avoidance as a standard feature.
The service covers the full flight dynamics workflow: orbit determination from tracking data, attitude determination, forward propagation of state and covariance, event detection (eclipses, ground passes, conjunction events), manoeuvre planning and delta-v optimisation, and pass prediction for uplink/downlink scheduling and payload tasking. All outputs are consistent with industry-standard message formats including Orbit Data Messages (ODMs) and Tracking Data Messages (TDMs).
Orbit Data Messages delivered by the service contain the propagated mean state and covariance matrix projecting orbital information 7 to 14 days into the future. This forward-projection is particularly valuable following orbital insertion, after an executed manoeuvre, or when refining states for objects involved in conjunction events.
Available as a cloud subscription or deployable on-premise for operators with data-sovereignty requirements, the Flight Dynamics Service integrates directly with Vyoma’s Satellite Safety Service and Mission Planning Service, enabling a seamless data pipeline from raw tracking inputs through to approved manoeuvre commands.
