About
Vyoma’s Satellite Safety Service is a cloud-native Software-as-a-Service platform that provides satellite operators with comprehensive, affordable space situational awareness to safely operate assets in increasingly congested orbits. The service continuously monitors the orbital environment around a customer’s satellite and delivers timely collision warnings with clear probability assessments, enabling operators to make informed decisions before a conjunction becomes critical.
At the core of the service is an AI-driven conjunction analysis engine that screens satellite trajectories against Vyoma’s independent space object catalogue — covering both catalogued and uncatalogued debris — and generates optimal collision avoidance manoeuvre (CAM) recommendations. These recommendations account for operational constraints including propulsion type, available delta-v budget, eclipse windows, and regional anomalies, delivering actionable guidance rather than raw data.
The service is delivered through Vyoma’s intuitive dashboard, which visualises conjunction events, collision probabilities, trajectory geometries, and ground-station pass predictions. When a high-risk event is identified, event-driven dedicated tracking campaigns are triggered to refine orbital states and issue updated Conjunction Data Messages (CDMs).
Offered as a subscription, the Satellite Safety Service scales from single-satellite missions to large constellations and is available in tiered plans: a free Monitor tier for visualising conjunction events; a Plan tier adding optimal manoeuvre generation; and a Save tier providing dedicated sensor tasking and updated CDMs for the highest-risk events.
