About

WARPSPACE’s Digital Twin System (DTS) is a software platform that creates a high-fidelity virtual replica of a satellite constellation and its optical communication links. It enables satellite operators and mission designers to simulate satellite behavior, model inter-satellite link geometries, evaluate data flow throughput, and validate mission parameters before committing hardware to orbit. The DTS is specifically tuned for optical communication scenarios — simulating free-space optical link budgets, terminal pointing and acquisition sequences, and relay network routing — which are substantially more complex than traditional RF link modelling due to the narrow beam divergence and precise pointing requirements of laser communications.

The system supports end-to-end mission lifecycle tasks: pre-launch mission planning (contact window analysis, optical link availability, data throughput prediction), anomaly response rehearsal (simulating failure modes and recovery procedures), and ongoing operational optimization. Engineers can test OISL constellation configurations with different orbital parameters, evaluate the impact of adding or losing relay satellites, and plan onboarding procedures for new user satellites — all in a risk-free virtual environment.

DTS works in concert with WARPSPACE’s HOCSAI multi-protocol optical modem hardware, forming a paired hardware-software product suite. Operators considering integration with the WarpHub InterSat relay network use DTS to pre-validate their satellite’s optical terminal compatibility, pointing budget margins, and expected service levels prior to physical integration. This significantly reduces the technical risk and time required to qualify a spacecraft for optical inter-satellite communications.

DTS commercialization has been accelerated under WARPSPACE’s Series C financing round (January 2026, led by SPARX Space Frontier Fund), with the company targeting Earth observation satellite operators, defense mission planners, and OISL constellation designers as its primary customers.
