About
XCAM Scientific’s Detector Evaluation product line provides ready-to-use Imager Control Systems (ICS) for evaluating advanced scientific imaging sensors from Teledyne e2v. Each system is tailored to a specific sensor family and provides the signal conditioning, power management, data readout, and software interface needed to fully characterise the device under test.
Four sensor families are currently supported: the CIS 120 (2k x 2k back-illuminated visible/UV/EUV sensor, 10 um pixels, Camera Link output), the CIS 125 TDI (CMOS TDI sensor with 20 data lines and Ethernet output supporting BSI and FSI devices), the CIS 300 family (up to 9k x 9k pixels with 12 data lines and USB 3 output), and the ChromaD SWIR detector (high-performance stitched SWIR sensor for satellite instruments, USB 3 output).
All systems include built-in temperature sensing and thermal control connectivity, advanced voltage and current monitoring, automated protection shutdown, and Python-based control code. They are intended for sensor characterisation in ground laboratory environments, supporting development of space imaging instruments.
