About

The DU802 is a pneumatic pump-feed liquid-propellant propulsion system developed by Yuzhnoye SDO for autonomous space tug applications requiring extended operational lifetime. It is capable of operating with multiple starts for 10 days or longer in continuous flight, making it suitable for orbital transfer vehicles, rendezvous and docking support, and satellite in-orbit servicing missions. The system burns nitrogen tetroxide and UDMH propellants, producing 0.45 tf of vacuum thrust with a specific impulse of 322.5 seconds. With a total mass of 165.4 kg, the DU802 is designed for medium-duration propulsion missions. Its Technology Readiness Level of 7 indicates demonstration in a near-space environment. The system supports 10 restart cycles for multi-burn orbital maneuvering.
