About

The Space Launch System (SLS) Stationary Basing is a ground launch infrastructure solution developed by Yuzhnoye SDO intended to conduct prelaunch processing and launches of integrated launch vehicles of light, medium, and heavy class in both monoblock and package configurations. The system enables ILV vertical or horizontal assembly and checkout, prelaunch processing and launching operations, a full complex of services for spacecraft, remote launch control from a command point, and complete automation ensuring operational safety. It supports single and cluster launches of spacecraft of different masses into circular, geostationary transfer, and sun-synchronous orbits while maximizing launch rate with high reliability. Spacecraft processing facilities are maintained at controlled temperature (18-25 deg C), humidity (up to 80%), and cleanliness (ISO Class 8) conditions.
