Apex is a Los Angeles-based satellite manufacturer focused on eliminating the satellite production bottleneck through productized, configurable bus platforms designed for constellation-scale manufacturing. Apex was founded with the mission of reimagining how satellites are built — combining traditional aerospace reliability with innovative new-space manufacturing methods and lessons from high-rate terrestrial production.

Apex's three product lines — Aries, Nova, and Comet — serve a broad range of commercial and government customers with satellite buses supporting payloads from small tactical applications to large 3,000 kg class missions across LEO, MEO, and GEO orbital regimes. Each platform offers pre-engineered configuration packages for rapid customization without sacrificing manufacturability or reliability.

Factory One, Apex's high-rate manufacturing facility in Los Angeles, California, is already delivering buses at rate with a peak annual production capacity exceeding 200 buses per year. The facility features a dedicated cell-based subassembly production floor, a linear integration cleanroom, a 66,000-lbf vibration table, and Apex's proprietary Octopus manufacturing operating system — integrating inventory management, production scheduling, and assembly work instructions into a unified environment.

Apex also provides end-to-end mission services including space vehicle analysis, payload integration, and on-orbit commissioning. The company has raised funding at a $2.3 billion valuation and is scaling production to support proliferated next-generation constellations for government and commercial customers.
