The Nova platform is a highly adaptable LEO constellation workhorse, engineered with multiple layers of built-in redundancy to maximize reliability. It is designed to serve customers across a wide range of demanding LEO missions, including proliferated communications, missile warning and tracking, and hosting space-based interceptors. The platform supports large-scale constellation deployments across various LEO orbits. It offers a base payload mass capacity of up to 300 kg, with additional capacity available for dedicated launch configurations. The Nova platform provides 1 kW of base payload orbit average power (OAP) at End of Life (EOL) over 7 years. Its high-reliability architecture makes it suitable for critical LEO missions requiring persistence, precision, and global reach. For proliferated communications, its scalable production and redundant architecture are ideal for resilient LEO constellations. For high-altitude remote sensing, it supports advanced missions like Missile Warning & Missile Tracking with its 1kW power and precision pointing capabilities. Heavy configurations of the Nova platform can host Space-Based Interceptors (SBIs) and support critical on-orbit life-support functions. Apex manufactures small satellite bus products from 100 to 500kg, available in a base model or with easily-swappable configuration packages. The listed OAP assumes a 550km circular sun-synchronous orbit with sun-tracking. Available payload volume and masses shown assume a Falcon 9 Rideshare envelope. The platform can achieve a Delta-v of up to 800m/s and assumes standard ESPA volume. The OAP is quoted at EOL and is true for any orbit within the nominal orbit range, assuming a yaw-steering sun tracking attitude leveraging single-axis SADAs. Listed available Payload Volume assumes a SpaceX Falcon 9 Full Plate XL.
