Lunar Research Service (LRS) is a space technology company based in Kyiv, Ukraine, dedicated to testing hardware and materials for space applications and to developing nanosatellites. The company's stated mission is to "chase the hardest problems to make life on Earth better," and it positions itself as a partner for NewSpace companies that need access to extreme-environment testing and orbital or near-space flight opportunities.
LRS offers extreme environment testing services, evaluating the performance of electronics, solar cells, materials, and instruments through vibration, vibroacoustics, modal analysis, shock testing, and simulated planetary atmospheric conditions. This work supports technology readiness level (TRL) advancement for hardware destined for orbit or other harsh environments. The company also designs, manufactures, and launches CubeSats (nanosatellites) that carry customer electronics or biological experiments into orbit, handling spacecraft design, manufacturing, and testing.
Beyond orbital work, LRS runs stratospheric science and brand-presentation services, enabling consumer brands and researchers to conduct product development, marketing campaigns, or precursor testing at altitudes above 30 km.
