About

Lunar Research Service (LRS) offers hardware testing for extreme environments, aimed at qualifying hardware such as satellite and space mission components. LRS evaluates all aspects of structural dynamics, including vibration testing, vibroacoustics, modal characteristics, sound transmission loss, and shock testing. This testing capability supports LRS’s broader space activities, which include the LRS 3U satellite (launched via a Rocket Factory Augsburg AG launch services agreement, planned for December 2022) featuring a proprietary satellite design and an in-house developed deployment system, ground-to-orbit communications testing, and a solar concentrator intended for use on an upcoming lunar mission planned for 2023-2024. LRS also supports near-space (stratosphere) product development and marketing campaigns from altitudes of 30 km and higher for consumer brands, positioning itself as powering NewSpace companies.
