About
Lunar Research Service (LRS) is a NewSpace company that supports satellite missions and offers environmental qualification testing for hardware destined for extreme environments. LRS signed a launch services agreement with Rocket Factory Augsburg AG (RFA) for its LRS 3U satellite, planned for launch in December 2022, featuring a proprietary satellite design and an in-house developed deployment system. Results from this mission will be used to improve LRS’s ground-to-orbit communications and to test a solar concentrator intended for a subsequent lunar mission targeted for 2023-2024. LRS also enables consumer brands to conduct business in the stratosphere: companies can develop products in a near-space environment (30 km altitude and higher), run marketing campaigns from that altitude, or launch products into orbit, powering NewSpace companies’ commercial activities (e.g. a past launch campaign with Unit.City). LRS’s hardware testing service evaluates all aspects of structural dynamics for space and near-space hardware, including vibration testing, vibroacoustics, modal characteristics analysis, sound transmission loss, and shock testing. The company’s team includes Tetiana Timchenko (CEO), Dmytro Khmara (CTO), Alexander Lozynsky (Chief Engineer), and Dzhozef Konrad (Business Development).
