Hardware Testing for Extreme Environments

Structural dynamics testing service from Lunar Research Service (LRS) for qualifying hardware intended for extreme, space-relevant environments.

About

Lunar Research Service (LRS) provides hardware testing for extreme environments, supporting the qualification of space hardware and other equipment intended to operate under harsh mechanical and acoustic conditions. The service evaluates all aspects of structural dynamics, including vibration testing, vibroacoustic testing, modal characteristic analysis, sound transmission loss measurement, and shock testing. LRS uses this capability internally to validate hardware developed for its own satellite missions (such as its 3U satellite and its in-house deployment system) and its near-space/stratospheric platform, and also offers the testing service to external NewSpace customers, helping ensure components and assemblies can withstand the dynamic loads encountered during launch and operation in extreme environments.
