About
ThinKom Solutions designs and manufactures Variable Inclination Continuous Transverse Stub (VICTS) phased array antennas for commercial aviation in-flight connectivity (IFC). VICTS achieves wide-band electronic beam steering using two mechanically rotating disk layers that create a steerable phase gradient across the aperture, eliminating the need for expensive and lossy semiconductor phase shifters or active T/R modules.
ThinKom’s commercial IFC antennas operate on both Ku-band and Ka-band GEO HTS satellite networks as well as emerging LEO constellations. They deliver high EIRP and G/T performance in low-profile aircraft-certified radome installations suitable for linefit and retrofit on commercial narrowbody and widebody aircraft.
The antennas are qualified to aviation environmental standards and have been deployed on thousands of commercial aircraft operated by leading global airlines. ThinKom antennas support multi-orbit, multi-band simultaneous operation for future-proof connectivity.
