About
The AAC Clyde Space ZAPHOD CubeSat Structure range is designed for adaptability and ease of integration, supporting bespoke payload configurations. These lightweight and robust solutions are extensively tested and qualified to all major launch vehicle standards, with a high level of modularity. Available off-the-shelf with a choice of shear panel or standard cut-out pattern, the structures can be customized with bespoke cut-outs and deployable panels. The ZAPHOD structure simplifies modification and can be assembled around the avionics stack and payload, increasing accessibility during integration and testing. Mounting holes are provided for various stack and payload configurations. Implementing user-definable locating elements, the structure accommodates several avionic and payload configurations, enabling high customization without expensive redesign. Each structure is fitted with anodized rails and deployment switches, all proven on orbit. It is compatible with all rail-deployers and its deployment switches ensure compatibility with manned flights and ISS. The design maximizes internal volume and offers ease of access during integration with a customizable internal stack layout. The ZAPHOD CubeSat structures are compatible with AAC Clyde Space PHOTON solar panels, meeting ISS Manned Flight design requirements when combined.
