About

The CP400.85 is a miniaturised module offering powerful data processing and application flexibility. This flight-proven processing platform features high computing power, low energy consumption, and a general-purpose processing platform on a footprint of only 20 x 50 mm. It runs a Linux-based operating system, allowing users to execute various algorithms as distinct, uploadable applications with almost limitless flexibility. These applications can run in parallel, with the OS managing scheduling. Depending on the separately supplied carrier board, the module can function as a powerful payload processor or a general-purpose on-board computer. An optional storage module, with the same 2×5 cm footprint, allows for storing up to 7.5 Gb of data in reliable, radiation-tolerant storage, and optionally over 64 GB of bulk data on two SD-cards. The platform utilizes modified COTS components to withstand up to 25 krad of radiation. Its fast boot time ensures maximum system uptime for computing tasks, and its small form factor allows integration into systems like the iADCS400, saving space. The CP400 has been flying in LEO since 2018 on CubeSat missions.
