The Next Generation On Board Computer (OBC NG) for satellites is a state-of-the-art on-board computer that is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding spacecraft missions. It is based on the radiation-hardened CREOLE chip developed by Beyond Gravity, which provides high performance and reliability in even the harshest environments of space.
CREOLE contains the complete board computer functionality, including fault tolerant SPARC V8 processor, communication functions, reconfiguration function, mass memory controller and many extension possibilities.
OBC NG belongs to Beyond Gravity’s traditional command and data handling (CDH) product line: high-performance, fault-tolerant systems designed to execute and survive anywhere in space, with a heritage covering Earth observation, telecom, science and exploration, launcher and navigation missions.
