The PSR 50V MkII is Airbus’ fully qualified, off-the-shelf power supply regulator for satellite electrical power systems, handling up to 23 kW of power at a 50V bus. It regulates and distributes power from the solar array and battery to the satellite platform and payload, forming the core power-conditioning element of the spacecraft’s electrical power system.
Designed as a catalogue-standard unit, the PSR 50V MkII is targeted primarily at telecom satellite platforms that require a high-power, well-proven regulator with predictable performance and schedule.
