About
The NEMO-2 2041 is Airbus’ current compact solid-state recorder (SSR), providing high-capacity onboard mass memory storage and processing performance for Earth observation satellites. It is built on more than 30 years of flight-proven solid-state recording technology developed by Airbus Defence and Space, buffering and managing payload data streams prior to downlink.
As part of Airbus’ digital payload and data-handling portfolio, NEMO-2 2041 is designed to keep pace with the growing data volumes generated by modern high-resolution optical and radar imaging instruments.
