About
PureLine Amethyst is Airbus’ compact, low-power avionics product combining the essential functions of a satellite on-board computer: central data handling, telemetry/telecommand (TM/TC) processing, an integrated GPS receiver, and interfaces to the attitude and orbit control system (AOCS). It is designed to reduce the number of separate boxes needed on a satellite bus, saving mass, power and integration effort.
As part of the PureLine catalogue avionics family, Amethyst is qualified for 10-year LEO operations, targeting New Space and constellation programmes that need flight-proven, off-the-shelf avionics with short lead times.
