About

The Antenna-feeder Device of Wideband Communication System is a subscriber relay equipment component for wideband communication system maintenance via spacecraft repeaters of the multifunctional space system. It relays signals between the ISS science-power module and a ground station. It operates at 13.5 GHz (receive, circular polarization) and 15 GHz (transmit, circular polarization) with ≤41 dBi absolute gain and ≤75 W power consumption. Angular coverage is ±180° azimuth and ±120° elevation. SWR ≤1.2, antenna beam width 1.0–1.1 degrees. Mass is ≤55 kg. Released in 2014 with 10-year guaranteed (15-year active) service life and 20-month delivery time.
