Argus 1000 Infrared Spectrometer

Argus 1000 is an affordable miniature, infrared spectrometer with integrated optics for remote sensing applications, including environment monitoring and process control. The spectrometer operates in the near infrared band 1000 nm to 1700 nm (standard range), (or up to 2400 nm in the extended rand version). The device uses an InGaAs detector array of approximately 100 illuminated elements that is actively cooled. Flown in space, the ruggedized spectrometer units have a mass of less than 230g.
