About
The Argus 2000 is a compact InGaAs infrared spectrometer supplied as a complete kit: no additional optics or optical fibers are needed, since it comes with integrated foreoptics in a single unit. Each kit includes a carry case, a ground test interface, and a display laptop, and is ready to record spectral data straight out of the box. The instrument is built on Thoth’s award-winning Argus electronics platform, which has demonstrated ten years of in-orbit heritage. The standard configuration covers the 1000-1650 nm InGaAs range with 6 nm spectral resolution and a 15 mm, 0.15-degree field-of-view aperture, using a Peltier-effect cooler and a standard serial interface with programmable integration time and co-adding settings. An Extended-Range configuration with gold optics and IR-optimized coatings extends coverage to 1240-2000 nm or 1730-2200 nm. The Argus 2000 is offered in four qualification grades to match mission needs: Lab Grade for laboratory and ground-test use; Space Grade, environmentally certified and delivered with test certification for spaceflight; UAV Grade, certified for thermal and vibration environments on UAV platforms; and Extended Range, the wide-spectral-coverage space-qualified variant. Available off the shelf subject to export license approval.
