About

The Argus 2000 is an affordable, miniaturized infrared spectrometer with integrated optics, designed by Thoth Technology as an OEM payload for space and UAV platforms as well as laboratory use. It is award-winning heritage space technology supplied as a complete, ready-to-use kit including a ground test interface and display laptop, requiring no additional optics or optical fibers since foreoptics are integrated in a single unit. The instrument uses an InGaAs detector covering the 1000-1650 nm infrared range at 6 nm spectral resolution, with an extended-range variant covering 1240-2000 nm or 1730-2200 nm using gold optics and IR-optimized coatings. Argus 2000 is available in lab-grade, space-grade (environmentally certified with thermal/vibration test certification), UAV-grade, and extended-range configurations, making it suitable for remote sensing applications such as environmental monitoring and industrial process control. Low mass and power consumption let it operate out of the box on constrained platforms.
